According to a report by Sunnewsonline.com, a 20 year old girl allegedly set ablaze the 22 year old new love interest of her ex-boyfriend. Cynthia Onah reportedly went to her ex-boyfriend's house at Onugba Nike area in Enugu State late at night with a gallon of fuel and emptied its content on Chinwe Igwe, her ex's girlfriend, who was sleeping. The incident took place on August 24th.

The Commissioner of Police Enugu State, Mr. Mohammed Adamu described the incident as very unfortunate. “It is terrible that a girl because of jealousy would set another girl on fire simply because they are befriending the same boy.”

Boko Haram gunmen on Sunday stormed a college dormitory in Yobe State, firing on students as they slept, the military told AFP, in the latest such attack blamed on the Islamist insurgents.

Security forces were at the scene but details on the number of dead and injured were not yet available, area military spokesman Lazarus Eli said.

The early morning assault targeted the College of Agriculture in the town of Gujba in Yobe state, Eli said.

It was carried out by “Boko Haram terrorists who went into the school and opened fire on students,” while they were sleeping, he added.

What informed your decision to write the book in picture form? I am somebody who likes to keep things. I have information of more than 10 to 20 years. So, when I met the publisher of Royal Times, Engineer Gbenga Adebayo, he asked me about my projection for the industry in few years to come. I told him I really know, but I pray I am still here to make a difference. He suggested I should write a book and I told him I am not an author, I wouldn’t know what to write. However, I told him I have pictures as far back as 1993 when I started. So, he suggested we should tell a story with pictures because pictures, they say, are worth a thousand words.

Ado-Ekiti – The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) on Friday discovered a 600-acre hemp farm at Ode-Ekiti in the Gbonyin Local Government Area of Ekiti.

The Commandant of the NDLEA in Ekiti, Mr Dele Akingbade, in Ado-Ekiti said that the hemp farm was the largest individually-owned hemp farm in Ekiti.

Akingbade said that the cost of the hemp farm was too huge to be determined immediately.

He described the discovery of the farm as one of the `biggest feats’ of the agency in the state.

Akingbade said the agency made the discovery on a vast expanse of land on July 24.
